Farewell to Blue Obsessions – Time To Move Forward / Hejdå Blue Obsessions – Dags Att Gå Vidare

It’s almost time to say goodbye to my first AI-based album, Blue Obsessions. The album will be removed from Spotify and other platforms around the release of my upcoming album MY DNA, set for September–October.

It’s a little bittersweet – Blue Obsessions was where it all began. It marked the start of my journey as GINAxC, and I’ll always be grateful for that chapter. But it’s time to look ahead.

I’ve been quite firm about not doing remakes of my AI songs. My aim has always been to leave that era behind. But I also know that many of you discovered me because of those songs – and that matters.

That’s why I’ve created a new version of Risky Business, now titled THE Risky Business. The instrumental is made by a human producer in FL Studio, and I’ve recorded the vocals myself. It’s a personal reinterpretation – partly close to the original, partly something new. I hope you’ll receive it with the love I put into it.

I haven’t ruled out doing a human version of Love Too Hard either – especially since it’s still being played on multiple Polish radio stations, a year after its release. If I get the chance to perform live in Poland (which I hope!), that song might come to life again.

As before, my plan is to upload Blue Obsessions songs to YouTube eventually, but that will take time – my focus is currently on launching my upcoming album.

Fan favorites like Risky Business and Love Too Hard will disappear from Spotify during the fall. If you’re a DJ or a radio host and want to use them – just reach out! And even though they’ll be taken down, the songs will live on – in people’s hearts, and on radio stations across Poland, USA, Sweden and beyond.

Det närmar sig dags att säga hej då till mitt första AI-album Blue Obsessions. Albumet kommer att tas ner från Spotify och andra streamingtjänster i samband med releasen av mitt nya album MY DNA, som släpps i september–oktober.

Det känns både nostalgiskt och vemodigt – för Blue Obsessions var där allting började. Det var mitt första steg in i musikvärlden under mitt nya artistnamn GINAxC. Men det är också dags att blicka framåt.

Jag har egentligen varit emot att göra nya versioner av mina AI-låtar. Mitt mål har varit att lämna den eran bakom mig. Men samtidigt vet jag att många av er upptäckte mig genom just de låtarna – och det betyder något.

Därför har jag spelat in en ny version av Risky Business, nu kallad THE Risky Business. Instrumentalen är skapad av en mänsklig producent i FL Studio, och jag har själv spelat in sången. Det är min egen tolkning – ena stunden lik originalet, nästa stund helt min. Jag hoppas verkligen att ni tar emot den med öppna armar.

Jag har inte heller helt uteslutit en nyinspelning av Love Too Hard, särskilt eftersom den fortfarande spelas på flera radiostationer i Polen, även ett år efter släppet. Och om jag får möjlighet att spela live där – vilket jag hoppas – så kanske den får nytt liv i en human version.

Mitt mål, precis som tidigare, är att lägga upp Blue Obsessions-låtarna på YouTube, men det kommer att dröja lite eftersom fokus just nu ligger på albumsläppet.

Favoriterna Risky Business och Love Too Hard försvinner alltså från Spotify under hösten. Vill du spela dem i radio eller som DJ – hör gärna av dig! Och även om de tas ner, så lever de vidare – i hjärtat, och på radiostationer i t.ex. Polen, USA och Sverige.
