WHO IS GINAxC?
An artist long before she became a recording artist.
CREATIVITY WAS NEVER A CHOICE
For GINAxC, creativity has never been something she consciously chose. It has simply always been a part of who she is.
Growing up in Sweden, she began writing songs at the age of eight or nine. Words came naturally to her, and during her teenage years, she wrote hundreds of poems, filling pages with thoughts, emotions and imaginary worlds.
As a child, she loved being the centre of attention. Entertaining, performing and putting on a show were second nature to her. She enjoyed expressing herself and was never particularly interested in blending in.
But during her early teenage years, things changed.
She became a target of bullying, partly because she dressed differently, followed her own sense of style and had taken modelling photographs. What had once felt natural — being seen, expressing herself and taking up space — gradually became something she learned to hold back.
The creativity remained. But the performer became quieter.
MUSIC WAS ALWAYS THERE
Music entered her life long before GINAxC existed.
During her teenage years, she spent a couple of years making music in the studio of Jonas Warnerbring. It gave her an early opportunity to explore songwriting and recording in a studio environment.
Although life eventually took her in other directions, she continued writing songs on and off throughout the years.
For her, songwriting has never been about following formulas or trying to create a particular sound. It begins with an idea, a feeling, a story or something that emerges unexpectedly from her subconscious.
Sometimes the result is dark and emotional. Sometimes provocative, playful or deliberately uncomfortable. And sometimes it is simply a story that demands to be told.
A CREATIVE LIFE BEYOND MUSIC
Her artistic interests have never been limited to a single discipline.
Before returning to music as a recording artist, GINAxC worked as a visual artist, exhibiting her work in Sweden and Denmark.
She also produced art books, explored street theatre and developed creative projects outside the traditional art world.
Among her inventions was an ergonomic acupressure pillow, reflecting a curiosity that extends beyond artistic expression into practical design.
Painting, writing, performance, publishing and invention might appear to be very different pursuits. To her, however, they are all connected by the same instinct: imagining something that does not yet exist and finding a way to bring it to life.
That multidisciplinary background would eventually become an important part of GINAxC's artistic identity.

THE RETURN OF THE PERFORMER
When GINAxC emerged, it was not the beginning of a creative journey. It was the return to something that had been there since childhood.
Music offered a way to bring together the songwriter, storyteller, visual artist and performer.
Her sound developed into a personal blend of electro-pop, electronic dance music, darker atmospheres and theatrical storytelling.
Rather than restricting herself to one mood, she moves between energetic dance tracks, sensual and provocative lyrics, emotional vulnerability and reflections on the darker sides of human nature.
Her live performances have gradually become an extension of that world, combining spontaneous movement, theatrical expression and a strong visual identity.
The girl who once loved putting on a show had found a new stage.
