Over the past week, things have moved quickly for Swedish electropop artist GINAxC. Her single The Ugly Truth was recently picked up by Millennium FM Electro DJ Webradio in Lyon, France. According to Warmmusic.net, the station reaches approximately 350,000 listeners per week and specializes in electronic music from around the world.

The Ugly Truth has been picked up by three European radio stations organically in just a few days

At the same time, GINAxC's debut single Like a Snake found its way to Versuz Radio in Belgium. Interestingly, Versuz is also one of Belgium's most iconic and well-known nightclubs. Whether Like a Snake will ever make its way onto the club's dancefloor remains unknown, but it is certainly a fun possibility to imagine.

During the last few days alone, three different radio stations across Europe have independently discovered and added her music to their broadcasts. "To see songs travel across Europe completely on their own is incredible. It's a wonderful reminder that you're creating something that other people can enjoy and connect with. I'm incredibly grateful for every listener, DJ and radio station that gives my music a chance."

Meanwhile, The Ugly Truth has also been added to the playlist of LiveZwei Radio in Steinheim an der Murr, Germany, further expanding the song's international reach.

Perhaps the most fascinating part of these discoveries is that they happened entirely organically. GINAxC has had no direct contact with any of these stations, nor has she hired radio promoters, PR agencies, or plugging services. The stations simply discovered the music on their own and decided it was worth playing.

Moments like these serve as a reminder of how unpredictable the internet can be. A song written in Sweden and produced in Spain can suddenly appear on a radio station in France, Belgium, Germany, or somewhere else entirely. Once music is released into the world, there is no telling where it might end up next.

For an independent artist, that uncertainty is part of the adventure... Update 2026-06-18:

The week continues to bring unexpected surprises.

German radio station Radio TFSC in Stuttgart has now reached out to GINAxC expressing interest in playing her single My Darkness (Dorian Gray). According to Warmmusic.net, the station reaches approximately 850,000 listeners per week.

What makes the story particularly interesting is that My Darkness (Dorian Gray) was originally released in August 2025, and the submission to the station was sent around nine months ago. The response arrived nearly a year after the song's release, proving that music often follows its own timeline.

Together with recent airplay in France, Belgium and Germany, the development highlights something every independent artist eventually learns: once a song is released into the world, there is no way of knowing where it might end up next—or when someone might discover it.

Unlike traditional radio campaigns, these discoveries happened without any recent radio plugging, PR campaigns or direct contact. The stations simply found the music and decided it deserved a place on their playlists.
