GINAxC to Perform Her Dreaming San Marino Audition Online in December

GINAxC has now made the decision not to travel to San Marino in November for an in-person audition, but instead to perform her audition online in December.

After much consideration, she chose to focus on giving her best possible performance in a calm and familiar setting from her own studio. Still, she shares that she truly hopes to visit San Marino after the New Year, describing it as “a beautiful and unique country that I’d love to experience in person.”

GINAxC also wishes to thank a San Marino finalist from 2025, with whom she has been in contact for valuable insights about the contest, as well as another person who has offered important guidance and perspective throughout this process.

How the Dreaming San Marino Song Contest 2026 Works

Step 1: Submission (October - January 2026) Artists are invited through an open call to submit their unreleased songs.

✅Status for GINAxC: Completed – selected for audition (online in December).

Step 2: Casting (November–December 2025) Selected artists from the submission get invited to a private audition — either in San Marino or, for those living outside Italy and its neighboring countries, online. From this phase, around 240 artists or more are selected to continue.

Step 3: Stage & Live Academy (February 2026) Eight groups of about 30 artists each attend performance coaching sessions in San Marino. After live evaluations, five artists from each group move on — a total of 40 semifinalists.

Step 4: Semifinals (March 3–4, 2026) The 40 semifinalists perform live before an audience and jury. The shows are broadcast on San Marino RTV across San Marino and Italy. From these, 10 finalists (five from each semifinal) are chosen.

Step 5: Final (March 7, 2026) The final takes place at the Teatro Nuovo Dogana and is broadcast live on national television. Ten finalists + up to nine special artists selected by San Marino RTV compete for the chance to represent the country in Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
