The Swedish artist GINAxC has advanced in the San Marino Song Contest 2026, San Marino’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The competition attracted strong international interest, with more than 800 artists applying, of which only 240 were selected to move forward.

The selected artists are divided into eight groups of 30, where five artists from each group will advance to one of the live televised semifinals. All decisions are made by the competition’s jury.
The next phase of the competition is Stage & Live Academy, taking place over four intensive days from February 12–15. This stage serves as a preparatory and decisive step ahead of the semifinals, focusing on live performance, stage presence, and overall artistic presentation. The jury evaluates each act closely to determine which entries are ready for the televised shows.
GINAxC competes with the song “Liar on Fire,” a powerful entry centered not on abstract freedom, but on the fight for freedom — the courage to claim space, raise one’s voice, and stand firmly in one’s truth.
“I’m happy and grateful to be part of this international competition, and I truly appreciate how San Marino welcomes talents from around the world with open arms. I’m now fully focused on giving ‘Liar on Fire’ the treatment it deserves, so the song can spread its important message to the world,” says GINAxC.
In connection with her journey to San Marino and Italy, GINAxC will also host a live show and Meet & Greet at Centro Commerciale Il Malatesta in Rimini, giving audiences the opportunity to experience her music live and meet her in person during the Eurovision selection period. This is a part of her European Promotional Tour, MYDNA/T.U.T. TOUR 2026.
Advancing in the San Marino Song Contest marks an important milestone in GINAxC’s international journey and further strengthens her presence ahead of the Eurovision 2026 season.
