GINAxC’s Journey in Dreaming San Marino Song Contest 2026 Has Come to an End

Yesterday at 20:00, it became official: GINAxC’s journey in Dreaming San Marino Song Contest 2026 has come to an end.
Out of 240 selected artists who advanced to the Stage & Live Academy, only 40 were chosen for the live televised semifinals. GINAxC was not among them.
The reason remains unknown.
She reflects that perhaps a more polished, choreography-driven performance might have demonstrated a stronger “Eurovision-friendly” format. However, her core stage identity is raw, spontaneous, and driven by instinct. Her movements are not rehearsed patterns but reactions from the nervous system — a direct connection between music, voice, and emotion.
Perhaps national selections in their current format are not a 100% match for the way she works today. Or perhaps timing plays its part.
“I chose to stand on that stage exactly as I am — raw, honest, and fully connected to the music. I have no regrets. Growth is not always measured in results.”
Despite not advancing, the experience has been deeply meaningful. Over 800 artists applied. Being among the 240 selected was already a milestone. Performing her own original song, written and created from scratch, under pressure and intense conditions, marked a significant personal breakthrough.
This journey also proved something important to her: she is fully capable of stepping onto a stage and delivering — even under stressful and imperfect circumstances.
Meanwhile, momentum continues.
Her single “Liar on Fire” will be officially celebrated at a release party this Friday at Bellamonte Art in Helsingborg at 19:15, where she will perform the song live alongside her 2026 releases Barboy, Mista, and Critical.
The song has already reached approximately 70,000 views on YouTube within two weeks, and performance clips from Centro Commerciale I Malatesta in Rimini have accumulated thousands of views across social media.
The official music video for Liar on Fire has unfortunately been postponed due to logistical reasons, but further updates will follow.
GINAxC also extends her gratitude to P4 Kristianstad and SVT Nyheter Skåne for covering her participation in Dreaming San Marino Song Contest 2026.
She thanks Italy and San Marino for the hospitality, professionalism, and inspiration.
Whether she will apply again in the future remains to be seen. That decision will depend on what unfolds this summer and autumn.
In any case, the journey has been memorable, educational, and transformative.
And it is far from over.
